It is 1.8 times more effective with less energy consumption as compared to conventional UV sterilisers, thanks to a new breakthrough reflector design that improves the efficiency of UV-C sterilisation. EHEIM reeflexUV should only be used in conjunction with the filter, in order to reduce small organisms (microorganisms, algae spores etc.) in the aquarium.
